Lilit has graduated from the Department of Armenian Philology, Yerevan State University majoring in linguistics and literary criticism.

She has concentrated her studies on Old Armenian (Grabar), Western and Eastern Armenian as well as comparative Indo-European linguistics. Focused on exploring ancient and medieval Armenian literature her research topic was “The common character traits of protagonist in Armenian fairytales”.

Lilit designed language courses and taught Armenian as a foreign language for 10 years in Armenia and abroad.

She has also led trainings in national and international level about Armenian language history, the role of the history in the formation of language, language comparison, academic and non formal methods in language learning process and the role of the language for intercultural communications.

She is fluent in three foreign languages: English, Russian and Italian.
